Meet Registered Dietician Nutritionist, Christi Bowling
Christi Bowling received her Master of Science in Hospitality and Dietetic Administration from the University of Kentucky in Lexington. She is a Registered Dietician Nutritionist and Licensed Dietician in the State of Georgia.
With 13 years of experience, Christi offers specialized consultations ranging from weight loss counseling, medical nutrition therapy, and sports nutrition for athletes. Growing up, she was an all-state athlete which peaked her interest in keeping a proper diet to provide the necessary energy to maintain performance. A diagnosis of hypoglycemia in her teen years made types of foods and ways of eating a learned discipline to ensure her health. This knowledge and personal experience motivated Christi’s pursuit of a career in dietetics.
Christi is a member of the American Dietetic Association’s Sports, Cardiovascular, and Wellness Nutritionists Practice Group and has previously worked as Lead Dietician to Disney cast members in Lake Buena Vista, Florida where she created a weight management program and provided individual nutrition consultations.
Christi has presented on many topics at health fairs, hospitals, and other professional organizations including, “A Comparison of Quick Service Restaurants: Healthy & Regular Menu Items” and “Fat Burning and Fat Promoting Foods.”
Through proper planning and hard work, Christi will be able to help our patients achieve prime wellness and that’s even more satisfying than sweets!
